Our story

Founded by healthcare insiders

C8 Health was founded by clinicians and healthcare technologists who experienced firsthand the frustration of knowledge chaos in critical moments. We built C8 Health to be different—not another repository, but an active partner in care delivery. Today, we partner with over 100 hospitals across the United States, including leading academic medical centers and teaching hospitals. Seven of the top 10 anesthesiology residency programs rely on C8 Health to standardize training and improve care consistency.

2019
Our journey started in 2019 at Geneva University Hospital. Dr. Ido Zamberg and Dr. Olivier Windisch created C8 Health to fix the problem of inefficient access to their institution’s best practices.
2020
By 2020, the C8 Health platform quickly spread across the entire hospital and then to other hospitals in Switzerland.
2022
In 2022, we founded C8 Health Inc. and focused on our first vertical: Anesthesiology. We started working with healthcare systems across the US and Europe that use C8 to streamline access to their clinical resources, implement their best practices, and coordinate care across their different locations.
2024

In 2024, we expanded to more verticals, such as pediatrics and medicine. We continue to work closely with our customers to understand their pain points and workflows. This allows us to continuously develop new features and capabilities to create new operational efficiencies that improve care delivery and patient outcomes; the C8 Health platform continues to grow with clinicians in mind.
