Who we are

C8 Health is a platform for the implementation of best practices in healthcare organizations. We harness the power of AI to make best practices available to every provider, anywhere and any time — driving care consistency, better patient outcomes, and lower cost of care.

Founded in 2022 and venture-backed, we partner with leading health systems including Mount Sinai, Brigham & Women's Hospital, Metro Health, UTMB, and Dartmouth Health. We move fast, iterate often, and care deeply about the work.

About the Role: Implementation Specialist

We are hiring an Implementation Specialist to own the end-to-end technical and operational delivery of customer onboarding. This is an execution role, not a coordination role. You will carry a portfolio of active implementations, drive them to go-live on schedule, and build the infrastructure that makes our onboarding function scale.

You will work closely with a dedicated Customer Success Manager on each account. The CSM owns the executive relationship and long-term account strategy. You own the build: platform configuration, technical integrations, timeline management, and stakeholder coordination to keep each phase moving forward.

As our implementations grow more technically complex — SSO, SFTP-based data feeds, policy system integrations — this role is the bridge between our customers' IT teams and our internal engineering team. You don't need to build integrations from scratch, but you need to understand what they require, own them from the customer side, and know when and how to escalate.

What you'll do

  • Manage end-to-end platform configuration for a portfolio of onboarding clients, delivering each on schedule with a high-quality customer experience.
  • Own technical coordination for SSO, SFTP, and other integration workflows: understand requirements, communicate clearly with hospital IT teams, and serve as the escalation point for configuration-specific challenges.
  • Drive stakeholder accountability. You will proactively follow up with client champions and internal teams to secure the deliverables needed to advance each phase — doing so in a way that builds trust rather than friction.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success Manager on each account to ensure client expectations are properly scoped, customizations are planned, and any risks are surfaced early.
  • Define and continuously improve the implementation process. Document every repeatable configuration step, identify bottlenecks, and articulate automation opportunities — your input directly shapes our product roadmap and implementation scalability.
  • Build phase-gate structure into onboarding. Establish clear milestones, dependencies, and go/no-go criteria that customers commit to upfront, reducing delays and unblocking your own throughput.
  • Maintain strong relationships with both customers and internal teams, promoting open communication and effective handoffs.

Who you are

  • 2+ years in implementation, technical onboarding, or account management at a SaaS company — one where implementations involved integrations (SSO, APIs, data feeds).
  • 2+ years working with clinicians or administrators in hospital-based healthcare; you understand how health systems operate and how to navigate their IT and clinical stakeholder environments.
  • Must have an understanding of SSO/SAML configuration, SFTP-based data workflows, and API integration concepts — not as a builder, but as an owner who can read documentation, ask the right questions, and drive resolution.
  • Excitement about AI tools and their ability to significantly improve your day to day efficiency.
  • Strong project management skills with experience using tools such as Jira, HubSpot, and Google Workspace.

How you work

  • Structured follow-through. You are experienced at running customer-facing projects where you don’t control the deliverables — and skilled at creating accountability without friction.
  • Technically curious. You dig into the details of a platform, read integration specs, and are comfortable being the bridge between a client’s IT team and our engineering team.
  • Process-oriented. You instinctively document what you do, identify what is repetitive, and ask how it could be automated or standardized.
  • Organizationally savvy. You maneuver comfortably through complex stakeholder environments, anticipate obstacles, and plan your approach accordingly.
  • Highly organized and self-directed. You manage multiple concurrent workstreams without dropping details, and you escalate the right things at the right time.
  • Clear communicator. Strong written and verbal skills; you adapt your style to clinical stakeholders, IT contacts, and internal teams alike.
  • Resilient. You rebound from setbacks, handle ambiguity well, and bring a can-do attitude to difficult situations.

What success looks like

In your first 90 days, you will have taken ownership of an active implementation portfolio, completed your first go-live, and produced an initial map of manual configuration steps that are candidates for automation. Within six months, you will be running implementations independently, with a clear phase-gate process that reduces delays and a growing library of integration runbooks that make each new implementation faster than the last.

Join us at C8 Health, where your expertise will not just be valued — it will be pivotal in transforming the future of patient care.

Compensation: $75,000 to $100,000 per year, equity package, plus healthcare benefits.
